Texas Size Doberman

Home

Hello, and welcome to Texas Size Doberman. My husband and I are individual owners and breeders of AKC-registered Dobermans of European and American descent. We breed our Dobermans to express stronger European characteristics and we are very critical of the Health, conformation, and temperament of our dogs. We believe all our dogs and pups should look like champions, have great workability, and also make great family members. Our Dobermans will include lines of both European and American lineage. We incorporate the best characteristics of both the American and European Doberman into our breeding program in an effort to reduce the frequency of inbreeding. We are diversity-focused breeders and we try to avoid breeding closely related dogs as much as possible. Our lines will always have a higher percentage of European influence and our dogs will be slightly above the average size of American Dobermans. Males will be between 28 to 30 inches tall and weigh 90 to 120 pounds. Females being smaller than males will run between 26 to 28 inches tall averaging 70 to 90 pounds. Although my husband and I both love a larger frame on our dogs, we try not to let the size of our dogs get out of hand. We will never put size before health and conformation. I am not a large-scale kennel or a puppy mill. My husband owns his own business and provides an excellent income for our family. I have no need to raise dogs to provide an additional income. We are considered hobby breeders. We do it for the love of the breed. We often only have 1 or 2 litters a year.  All of my Dobermans are family-owned pets and guardians. My husband and I both grew up with this breed as a part of our childhood and we began breeding these dogs ourselves 20 years ago inspired by our lifelong love for the breed. We truly believe in breeding happy, healthy, and physically sound Dobermans. To ensure the health and well-being of both my dam and her pups. I will only be producing litters if we have enough people on our waiting list. One of my biggest passions in life is subsistence farming.  I have a small-scale farm and the care of my animals is very important to me. There are routines and chores that must be done every day. This way of life is extremely demanding so I must be careful to only raise a litter of pups when I have a full waiting list and time to devote to them.  Please explore this site further or call me at  281-733-7319 or Email me at hthrfox@gmail.com to be put on our waiting list.
